Board 2016 - 2017

Manon van de Kuijt I Chairman

After being the secretary for the Amsterdam Consultancy Group, Manon decided to extend her MAA experience by joining the board. She hopes this helps her plan out the future and to further develop her leadership skills. As our chairman, she is responsible for leading everyone in the right direction. Her open, social and empathic qualities enable her to combine the serious tasks with having a great time.

Lisanne Droppers I Marketing

Lisanne started her MAA career in the Careers Beyond Borders committee, that took us to experience what an international career is like in Dublin. To further develop her practical skills next to doing a master in International Management, she applied for a board year. Being structured and result driven helps her to manage the marketing for the entire MAA.

Gijs Messink I Treasurer

After a bachelor in Organizational Science and a master Change Management, Gijs felt like he gained enough theoretical knowledge but could improve his practical skills. By keeping an eye on the money coming in and going out of the MAA he especially improves his financial expertise. He aspires to be a consultant and hopes to discover which field attracts him most this year. As a huge fan of football, you can always wake him up for a good game and a cold beer.

Silke de Ruiter I External Affairs

Having finished her bachelors in Business Administration in Groningen, Silke decided to move to Amsterdam for a master in International Management. She sees a board year at the MAA as the perfect opportunity to further develop her leadership and acquisition skills. Being social, hardworking and having a hands-on mentality make her perfect to manage the relationships with our partners and bring in new business. Surfing in Australia is what you find on top of her bucket list.

Sanne Postma I External Affairs

Sanne always has enough energy for the six of us, which she puts into continuously innovating the MAA. Besides being the connection between the business world and the MAA, she makes sure all committees are representative as well.

Rick van Wieringen I Internal Affairs

Besides his masters in Marketing, Rick was busy organizing the annual MAA skiing trip last year. He decided to do a board year to bridge the gap between studying and full-time employment. His five-year goal is to be a Marketing consultant for major clients. Being able to have a chat and laugh with anyone, Rick is always in for a coffee date when you would like to know more about the MAA!
