  • Own the performance tracker, global and per market; coordinate and analyze data using multiple tools, share learnings, suggest improvement actions, and deliver business reviews as required

The Beauty Business Development & Marketing team – located in the headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands – is focused on building a new global business through deep understanding of consumer needs and innovative activation strategies within PHILIP personal health.   • Currently studying towards your University Bachelor in Sciences/Master in Sciences WO (Bsc./Msc.) in Marketing Communications, Business Administration, (International) Business Management, Business Economics, Management Sciences, Marketing.

You will be familiar with a variety of marketing tools and processes while your own way of thinking and working style is also strongly encouraged.   • Supporting for selected projects in Product Development including analysis on consumer and market data, and coordinating selected areas of the project

  • Supporting on Product Launch Plans (trade presentations, launch activities, online activities…)
  • Analyzing Online portfolio and suggest counteractions together with the Market intelligence team

  • Managing online effectiveness and content; Improving creation of and setup for online content, analyzing how and where we can improve

You are a part of

A dedicated Marketing Team in the category of Male Grooming within Philips Health Tech, which consists of electronic male grooming appliances. Philips is a global leader in this category. The upstream marketing team (Consumer Marketing Managers) is responsible for full proposition development, starting with consumer insight generation, all the way to product development, market launch and life cycle management.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University in Applied Sciences or University in Sciences Bachelor or Master in next studies: Business Administration, Business Economics, Business Management or Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills; excellent knowledge of MS office.
  • Passion for marketing.

You are responsible for

You will be working hand in hand with our marketing and portfolio managers to support the fast growth of our business. Gathering market & consumer insights to support new proposition definitions and to create communication materials to show our proposition superiority in the market. Typically, this includes activities like (partial list): Market analysis, consumer research, creating commercial training kits, internal product catalogs, product packaging and product communication materials. You’ll experience the product and marketing development cycle in a fun and professional international team environment.

  • Internship assignment: support the Floor Care team (specifically for Rechargeable sticks) in the creation of product and portfolio & communication materials. You’ll also contribute with market analysis and other activities related to the proposition development cycle.
  • Main activities/tasks of the intern; Develop training kits with external agency, track competitors communication activities, support the preparation of internal and external product presentation events, develop content for online and offline product communication.
  • Goal of this Internship.
    • For the intern: get acquainted with the ways of working of a corporation such as Philips, get acquainted with the product development cycle including the preparation of materials to support product introductions and receive coaching for personal development.
    • For the Floor Care team: get extra hands and brains to create and deliver on-time, best-in-class propositions and communication materials that support our product introductions.
