  • Supporting the development and execution of Marketing Communication initiatives, i.e. creation of global and local Consumer & Shopper Communication and Activation materials;

The Global Beauty Marketing. This team consists of highly motivated and creative marketers with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. The team is eager to welcome a new member who will help them face the challenging global market of Beauty with a focus on the field of Consumer & Shopper Marketing and Communication. All team members will happily coach you through the different processes, thus will provide you with a calm and at the same time inspiring working atmosphere to show case your full capabilities and potential! Apart from the Global Marketing team, you will be working closely with the Global Beauty Business Group team as well as with the Marketing teams in the local markets.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor/Master in the field of Creative Marketing, Economics, Communications or Advertising
  • Fluent in oral and written English;
  • Excellent understanding of the communication process and good project management skills working independently with minimal supervision;
  • Have an eye for creative excellence;
  • Ability to initiate, build and develop relationships with colleagues and teams;
  • Proactive and result driven;

  • Ideally with some design or creative background coupled with marketing;

Job Description

Start date: We are looking for student able to start as soon as possible.

Duration: We require a minimum availability of 6 months, but prefer students to attend 9 to 12 months.

It is not possible to combine this assignment with your thesis. We do require a 40 hours per week presence.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Contribute in achieving our ambition to offer the most efficient, consistent and successful experiential events possible. For this assignment we are looking for a driven, hands-on and enthusiastic individual to support the Global Events Team within the Philips Brand, Communications and Digital (BCD) department. We need someone who is passionate about events and has a flexible, marketing and customer oriented attitude, and will be able to travel occasionally to support our large and big events.

You are responsible for

  • Assist with maintaining Philips Live!, which enables internal users to organize Philips own branded events and customer experiences easily. You will act as the events desk interface, launching and supporting the new tools and infrastructure that will help the markets and businesses structure and promote their event, acquire and register customers, track attendance and measure ROI.
  • Develop, maintain and deploy internal tools such as events internal website page, events asset library.
  • Work closely with event managers in order to collect, store and organize all up to date digital assets from past events.
  • Source and manage promotional items for key marketing initiatives. Build, maintain and train staff on the internal marketing tools such as the new marketing store, and on line digital asset inventory.
  • Monitor functional email accounts and distribute emails to the appropriate team members.
  • Set up lead capture surveys, maintain ARIS process documents and create and track purchase orders

You will be part of the Global Events team within the Philips Brand, Communications and Digital (BCD) department.

You will be working at our manufacturing location Best, nearby Eindhoven.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards you Bachelor or Master in:  Business Administration (Marketing track), Business Management or Events Organization.
  • Self-starter, organizational talent, creativity and project management skills are a must-have
  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Hands-on and operational way of working, confident in working in a fast paced environment
  • Multitasking activities and fast learning, Team worker
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English

Be part of a large-scale transformation for the e-commerce/Direct Online team, in a fast-paced and challenging organization within Philips. You will focus on the Direct to Business (D2B) side, which will give you the opportunity to gain first-hand insights on the B2B business of a large multinational company. You will engage in analytics-focused communications towards senior stakeholders and help transform data into comprehensive visuals.

You are responsible for

  • Gathering data to enable visualization for the B2B performance dashboard
  • Driving user engagement for the dashboard by managing communications through multiple channels and towards different teams
  • Helping to prepare dashboard releases by liaising with e-commerce shop managers, functions and business group leaders
  • Maintaining communication channels and platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, communications decks, Newsletter)
  • Acting as point of contact for the performance dashboard users by organizing trainings (e.g., video tutorials, training decks, user interviews)

You are a part of

A passionate and ambitious Direct2Business team, bringing our Philips products directly to customers via our own online channels. You will be working in an international, multi-cultural environment with many diversified stakeholders, gaining exposure to Marketing and Sales, Consumer Care, Supply Chain and IT. You will be part of a team creating a performance dashboard for the e-commerce business by driving user engagement, interviews and trainings.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences WO (Msc.) or Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent experience/ motivation
  • You are an enthusiastic team player, with strong communication skills (oral and written) and conceptual thinking

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work within a fast-developing and dynamic PR team at Philips. You will be assisting on PR plans and strategies, including product PR and creation of PR assets, product launches, branded content collaborations, analysis and measurement for the Personal Health portfolio in the Benelux. Next to this you have the opportunity to assist with the content plan for the Philips BNL Instagram account.

You are responsible for

  • Creating PR assets such as press releases, digital mailers and press kits
  • Executing the PR plan and strategy in the Benelux for the Personal Health portfolio
  • Pro-actively assisting on project management of media partnerships and branded content collaborations
  • Monitoring publications in relevant media outlets
  • Measuring and reporting of PR activities, collaborations and free publicity
  • Assisting on the content plan and calendar for the BNL Instagram account, including content creation, measurement and planning
  • Analyzing the always changing media landscape and trends to adapt relevant trends to the strategy

You are a part of

The PR and branded content team within Personal Health Benelux at Philips. The team is based in Eindhoven but there is also the opportunity to work in the Amsterdam office. The primary focus of the PR team is to drive an always-on content strategy, to support the PH businesses, customer driven, while playing a key role in an integrated marketing team. You will be contributing to the team leading all media contacts and PR activities within the Benelux and working on key PR projects. In addition, you will also work closely with the marketing managers, social team, digital team and our PR agency.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Support the upstream marketing team, responsible for proposition development from idea generation to product launch, in multiple areas, focused on improving the organization’s ability to deliver value propositions related to the electric shaving domain. You will be involved in projects such as the premium ranges, product development support, (digital) go to market support, campaign creation support, and digital Internet of Tings product development.

You are responsible for

  • Supporting projects in Product Development including analysis on consumer and market data, and coordinating selected areas of the project
  • Conducting Competitor Analysis to support key innovation projects for electric shaving products and Promotion effectiveness tracking
  • Supporting Product Launch Plans (trade presentations, launch activation activities, online activity…) and following up of value added promotions

• Analyzing Online portfolio and suggesting counteractions together with the Market intelligence team

• Managing Online effectiveness and Content Management; Improving creation of and setup for online content, analyzing how and where we can improve

You are a part of

A dedicated Marketing Team in the category of Male Grooming within Philips Health Tech, which consists of electric shaving appliances. Philips is a global leader in this category. The upstream marketing team (CMM) is responsible for full proposition development, starting with consumer insight generation, all the way to product development, market launch and life cycle management.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences WO (Msc.) or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Business Economics/ Business Management/ Economics/ Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for Marketing
  • Proactive and solution oriented. Solid interpersonal skills: ability to work with people of different seniority and backgrounds.
