  • Own the performance tracker, global and per market; coordinate and analyze data using multiple tools, share learnings, suggest improvement actions, and deliver business reviews as required

Functieomschrijving
As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will be part of the Customer Service Export team, within the supply chain department. You will be working in a dynamic international environment. The team is serving Retail & Professional distributors worldwide (~50 countries).

The Customer Service Export team is responsible for the total order-to-cash process. The team is an important link between our internal JDE organization and our international distributors. In the role of Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be main point of contact for a selected group of international distributors regarding operational matters. For example order placement, logistical planning, export documentation and invoicing.

You interact independently with internal and external stakeholders, to represent the interests of the customer. It is a dynamic role, with a high degree of autonomy with regard to classifying and prioritizing your work. A proactive attitude and good communication skills are required.

Your key tasks during your internship:

  • Order management;
  • Identify and apply the best solutions for our distributors, based on best practices in customer service and logistics;
  • Intensive cooperation with logistics service providers in Europe & Export business team (Retail & Professional);
  • Continuously working on improvement of our service level;
  • Preparation of weekly & monthly reports;
  • Proactive looking at optimization of current Supply Chain flows

Functie-eisen
To be successful in this role you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University ( Bachelor’s study) for the whole duration of the internship. You describe yourself as a team player, who is strongly interested in Supply Chain topics and wants to develop key internal & external stakeholder management skills.

You are highly motivated, an excellent communicator, fluent in Dutch & English, inquisitive, analytical and prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic international environment .

The internship starts around end of February or beginning of March, and is for a period of 4-6 months. Exact starting date and hours can be discussed, preferably not a graduate thesis internship.

We expect you to be available for ideally 5 days per week (4 days can be discussed).

Je maakt content die interessant is voor professionals die werkzaam zijn in de vakgebieden waarbinnen wij werven, zoals finance, legal, HR en IT. Je gaat het gesprek aan met onze recruitment consultants, en vertaalt hun kennis naar een interessant verhaal dat lekker wegleest.

Met jouw content wil je natuurlijk zoveel mogelijk mensen bereiken. Je gaat op zoek naar nieuwsmedia, blogs en vakbladen om onze content bij onder de aandacht te brengen. Zo help je Robert Walters en Walters People zich te profileren als opinieleider op het gebied van werving en ontwikkelingen op de arbeidsmarkt. Het afgelopen jaar hebben we successen geboekt bij het FD, de Financiële Telegraaf en BNR, maar ook (online) vakmedia zijn voor ons belangrijk.

Wat je gaat doen:

  • Je houdt relevante ontwikkelingen binnen onze expertises in de gaten, doet onderzoek en bedenkt ideeën voor nieuwe content. Artikelen, video’s, podcasts, the floor is yours… we zijn altijd in voor iets nieuws!
  • Je schrijft teksten voor artikelen, persberichten, social media en andere onderdelen van de marketingmix
  • Samen met ons design team maak je flyers, brochures, en whitepapers
  • Je stelt samen met de junior marketeer een content kalender op en zorgt dat al onze disciplines hierin vertegenwoordigd worden
  • Je stelt perslijsten op en onderhoudt het contact met relevante media
  • Je maakt onze website beter vindbaar in Google door middel van SEO optimalisatie
  • Je gebruikt Google Analytics om erachter te komen wat werkt, en waar nieuwe kansen liggen

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een afgeronde bachelor- of masteropleiding in de richting van communicatie, marketing of journalistiek
  • Je hebt ervaring met het schrijven van content en vindt het leuk om af te wisselen tussen een zakelijke (Robert Walters) en informele (Walters People) tone of voice
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en jouw Nederlands is 100% foutloos
  • Omdat Robert Walters in 30 landen actief is heb je veel contact met je internationale collega’s. Teksten schrijven in het Engels is voor jou geen probleem
  • Je houdt van doorpakken, stapt gemakkelijk op mensen af en bent niet bang om fouten te maken
