You’ll have the opportunity to experience various projects and roles within one of our strategic capabilities, rotating through three different assignments during your time on the Global Development Program (GDP). Your three rotations will be set by your program manager prior to your joining us. In the event that you discover along the way that you’d like to develop outside of your original capability track, we will support you in defining your next rotation into an adjacent complementary function that best suits you. Additionally, you’ll be offered a tailored learning journey, ongoing ‘learning on the job’ and peer learning.
Whether you want to work in the field of complex medical devices, connected care or personal health, you’ll be able to explore, contribute, learn, and receive structured support. You’ll also benefit from the many opportunities to learn and share with other Philips graduates and employees, and expand your own business network. You are responsible for
There are several assignments (location Best or Amsterdam) available, each with a specific assignment focus. Here are some examples of the type of rotations you’ll work on during the two-year program. After passing the Assessment Centre for our GDP Marketing track, you will be matched with your first rotation assignment.
Image Guided Therapy Systems and Devices
Portfolio management including performance tracking, optimization and lifecycle management
Image Guided Therapy – Marketing

Content manager. Facilitating content discussions with markets, content management cross-cluster, developing a content strategy and contributing to the campaign requirements accordingly. Candidate would be required to collaborate with portfolio marketing leaders, market marketing managers, business marketing managers, market communications professionals and engagement strategy manager.

Claims Manager: Will claims process development, cross-cluster claims roadmap creation for Suite of Solutions strategy, solutions claims process and supporting the creation of evidence strategy
Image Guided Therapy – Marketing Operations

Help plan for, create and deliver marketing strategy and plan

Coordinate global campaign activation planning in close collaboration with businesses and markets

Drive the implementation and adherence to marketing processes throughout the cluster

Manage Marketing performance dashboards that support effective marketing operations

Drive implementation and adherence to product portfolio management (including performance tracking, optimization and lifecycle management)
Personal Health Digital Marketing

Drive the End-2-End (E2E) media performance of our consumer facing campaign for Europe with EU campaign managers counterparts

Work closely with in-house hub and agency counterparts in briefing, orchestration and continuous optimization of campaigns (strong focus on digital paid media incl influencers).

Drive the E2E measurement framework, closing the loop with commercial counterparts as well as activation counterparts in sales enablement and Insights & Analytics on E2E performance tracking and strategic course correction
Grooming & Beauty (G&B) – Business Development

Play a driver role in growing direct 2 consumer channel business of Grooming & Beauty: together with business development leader, cross-functional team including business category leaders, markets, central DMEC to identify opportunities, build a growth plan and realize it on business side. Be a key person to develop strategic data-based stories for decision making across G&B business

Act as a junior business development manager for one of the key and fastest growing global markets. Together with business development director identify and realize growth initiatives, steer business-market collaboration. Team up with cross-functional teams including business category leaders, marketing creation teams to support the market from global side to deliver agreed enablers, delivering strong growth (product and campaign related)
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce (DMEC):

Digital Platforms (DP): Lead the DP strategic pillar of “Make DP a great place to work”; develop business impact cases per requirement by understanding the key customer needs; lead in preparing and driving the performance indicators and share insights

Direct-2-business-2-consumer: support our initiatives on bridging the world between professionals, health insurance companies and patients. Your role is to lead product development in an agile way of working. Set a clear roadmap based on business value and effort and drive the implementation of your roadmap in close collaboration with our businesses and markets.

Direct-2-business (D2B): Philips Health systems is going through a key transformation with the web experience. As this program bridges the D2B/DMEC team with the clusters, businesses and markets, it is a unique opportunity for you to experience the full broadness of Philips Health Systems (HS) in the context of new approach to web marketing and content management with strong processes and state of the art tools. You will support the product owners and program organization to develop and deploy a new way to manage the HS web experience. You are co-responsible for collaboration with clusters and markets to deploy tools and processes and support the transition of content to the new experience. You will guide the marcom and content engagement staff in the organization and work closely with the IT teams, scrum teams and external parties that all work on this transition.

Direct-2-consumer (D2C): identify and define processes improvement, develop and document solutions and procedures. Perform requirements and gap analysis. Liaise with required stakeholders to identify and propose best way forward. Evaluate Data by reviewing reports and key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement.
Precision Diagnosis Marketing Engagement
You will work with business categories (product managers) as liaison between them and marcomms; you will be the main contact for agency program and creating assets via agencies. You manage business event assets/content; maintenance digital business domain with product library, product detailed pages, webshop etc
Marketing Insights & Analytics

Execute data quality validation, cleansing and matching aligned to data definition and governance

Operationally support manager analytics on data analysis, including mapping the data sources and metrics, developing data glossary

Operationally support informatics & analytics EU team with ad-hoc data manipulations. Pro-actively align on requirements to automate data feeds and repetitive data processes

Involved in testing and prototyping of new tools and reports
Customer Experience Center
What does top class customer engagement experience look like in high tech/medical/B2B/B2C industries. You will work on framework setup, benchmark studies, observations and recommendations
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Recently graduated Bachelor/Master’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Media, Communications, Advertising, Business Administration or Economics

Max 1 years of work experience straight after your graduation

Affinity with e-commerce is a plus

In week 12 you will be informed whether you passed the pre-selection round and if yes you will be invited to perform an online test.

In week 13 you will be informed whether you are selected for the next round, the virtual video pitch.

In week 16 you will be informed whether you belong to the best performers, you will be invited for the final virtual assessment center, which will take place on Thursday 19th of May or Tuesday 24th of May (you will be invited for one of these dates). During this event, you will work on several challenging exercises together with similar minded graduates. Of course we will also provide you with more information on the Graduate Development Program and the assignments. This is the final step in the selection process. In the same week, we will inform you with the outcome.
