You are responsible for

  • Assists the Consumer Marketing Manager (CMM) team with a wide range of projects including understanding Philips systems and processes that relate to new product launches, executing details for Sales Organizations
  • Supports CMM with projects related to data gathering & analysis, and its presentations
  • Responsible for issuing PO’s
  • Will be running the market share or portfolio analysis..
  • Responsible for the coordination of the day to day support of CMM activities in the category

You are a part of

The Garment Care team, a Business Unit belonging to Domestic Appliances Business Group (BG) within the Philips Personal health division.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Current student from Bachelor or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Management with interest/focus in Marketing
  • Available to commit to a 6 months internship, starting December 2019 or January 2020(will require university agreement)
  • Analytical thinker, with a flair for business issues and problem solving;
  • Able to work independently and with accuracy
  • Able to develop and maintain excellent relationships with direct colleagues and people at all levels of the organization;
  • Flexible team player;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken in English;
  • Familiar with Windows and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Excel proficiency is a plus!
  • Comfortable with systems and processes.

Verantwoordelijkheden
Succesvolle kandidaten zullen gaan werken met ons Nederlandse Marketing-team van ca. 15 personen om het uitvoeren van onze merkstrategie binnen Nederland te ondersteunen. Je wordt o.a. verantwoordelijk voor projecten, campagnes, meetings en operationele taken, waar ons Marketing team dagelijks mee te maken heeft. Of het nu het onderzoeken van Consumer trends is, het organiseren van sampling campagnes of een meeting met collega’s om merkuitdagingen te bespreken, wij zijn ervan overtuigd, dat wij je een uitgebreide leerzame ervaring kunnen bieden.

Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible but no later than January or February 2020

We are open to discuss your thesis subject as long as it will be in line with the internship responsibilities as described. We are flexible in your availability up to 32-40 hours per week.

  • Supporting for selected projects in Product Development including analysis on consumer and market data, and coordinating selected areas of the project
  • Competitor Analysis to support key innovation projects for Male Grooming products (Hair clippers, nose trimmers, Body groomers and OneBlade)
  • Supporting on Product Launch Plans (trade presentations, launch activities, online activities…)
  • Analyzing Online portfolio and suggest counteractions together with the Market intelligence team
  • Supporting in the creation and follow up of value added promotions
  • Managing online effectiveness and content; Improving creation of and setup for online content, analyzing how and where we can improve

You are a part of

A dedicated Marketing Team in the category of Male Grooming within Philips Health Tech, which consists of electronic male grooming appliances. Philips is a global leader in this category. The upstream marketing team (Consumer Marketing Managers) is responsible for full proposition development, starting with consumer insight generation, all the way to product development, market launch and life cycle management.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University in Applied Sciences or University in Sciences Bachelor or Master in next studies: Business Administration, Business Economics, Business Management or Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills; excellent knowledge of MS office.
  • Passion for marketing.
  • Proactive and solution oriented.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and convey the messages in a convincing manner with people of different seniority and backgrounds.

Support the building of the Philips Integrated Landscape (PIL), which is the design and implementation of our common processes supporting the Philips strategy and all our business models based on a modern IT architecture. You will learn about modern IT architectures, complex program’s management, IT operations, and business models.

You are responsible for

  • Supporting the operations of the Business Competency organization within IT.
  • Support the execution of the EU Medical Device Regulation program.
  • Drive the development of a competency model for Business Process Experts.
  • Performing project management activities within the IT program portfolio.
  • Conception / management of reporting and monitoring dashboards across IT functions.

You are a part of

The PIL Implementation Organization (PIO) Team, which consist of multiple disciplines and competencies from interns up to senior executives. You will have direct exposure to all levels of the organization, including CIO, IT operations, Program Managers, Project Managers, functional experts, and a long etc.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences WO (Msc.) or Bachelor Degree in Business Informatics or/ and Business Administration;
  • Experience in MS Office applications (Good PowerPoint and Excel skills);
  • Good analytical skills;
  • An interest in IT operations and project management;
  • Program / project management knowledge is a plus;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, fluent in English.
