Duration: 6 months

We are open for discussion to make this internship assignment suitable to combine it with your thesis. If we grand you to combine this with your thesis, we do require you to work at least 32 hours per week on our projects.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop your consumer experience and engagement skills in a dynamic environment of the marketing and sales organization for Personal Health Benelux. You work in an agile team with many digital professionals, which gives you the chance to develop your digital skills.

You report to the Consumer Engagement & Care manager and you are part of the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce team.

You are responsible for

  • Support the Consumer Experience managers with their business goals
  • Support in driving transformation in the consumer experience touch point strategy for every phase of the consumer journey: : contact center, web, social, repair & exchange, return processes, refurbishment
  • Improving consumer engagement in the  A-Z Consumer Journey together with our digital specialists
  • Support in developing rich consumer insights based on VoC (Voice of Customer) data and bringing consumer focused improvements to all stakeholders

You are a part of

The Benelux digital team, which is a young and vibrant team with many digital disciplines: online merchandisers, CRM managers, digital marketers, Philips Shop owners and the performance team. At digital, we work hard to outperform on digital while having fun along the way as well. Every day new things and new wishes/ideas cross our path, which make sure our days, are never the same. You will be part of the consumer engagement & care squad within the Benelux Digital team, consisting out of consumer experience managers, social manager, quality & safety manager & service operation manager.

You will be working at our office in Eindhoven based at the High Tech Campus.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your HBO (Bachelor) or WO (Bachelor of science/Master of science) in: Business Administration, (International) Business Management or Marketing
  • Basic knowledge of online marketing
  • Consumer first mentality
  • Affinity with consumer focused metrics
  • Fluent in both Dutch & English
  • High energy and results oriented. Looking to make improvements and changes
  • You can work accurately

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

As an intern Online Marketing (CRM / Audience Management), you will be supporting the development and deployment of CRM programs to enhance Philips’ direct contact with its consumers in the Benelux. You will also be helping with Audience Management, by creating and maintaining audiences for our advertising channels. Most of all, you will get the opportunity to work in a fun and agile environment, where you can really contribute to the team output!

You are responsible for

  • Help plan & coordinate e-mail campaigns as part of the consumer engagement plan
  • Using analysis and customer segmentation to improve both running and new CRM campaigns
  • Help measure and track campaigns for CRM
  • Help & maintain audiences in the Data Management Platform
  • Extra ad-hoc activities based on your interest & profile in the area of CRM or Audience Management

You are a part of

You will be part of a dynamic young digital marketing team, consisting of multiple experts on Performance, Digital Marketing, Analytics, E-Commerce, Search and Web. You will working at our office in Eindhoven, at the High Tech Campus building 52.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • attending a University or University of Applied Sciences with a major in the area of Communication, Marketing or Data Science
  • an experienced user of Microsoft Excel
  • experience with copy-writing & content creation would be highly preferred
  • self-motivated, innovative, highly organized, pro-active and attentive
  • fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken
  • excellent in English, both written and spoken
  • Digital native, you know how to unlock the power of digital marketing

We are able to support this assignment with a thesis. This depends on the subject you want to research which need to be in line with the responsibilities in this internship. If we will support thesis, we do require an availability of 32-40 hours per week working on the internship assignment.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work within a fast-developing and dynamic PR team at Philips. Within the PR team, you will be assisting on PR plans and strategies, including product PR and creation of PR assets, product launches, branded content collaborations, analysis and measurement for the Personal Health portfolio in the Benelux. Next to this, you have the opportunity to assist with the content plan for the Philips BNL Instagram account.

You will receive training and coaching on the different aspects of PR, branded content collaborations and content creation. This internship offers you the chance to not only gain professional experience within the PR and communications field, but will also put your talents to use!

You are responsible for

  • Creation of PR assets such as press releases, digital mailers and press kits
  • Executing the PR plan and strategy and pro-actively assisting on project management of media partnerships
  • Monitoring publications in relevant media outlets & measurement of PR activities, collaborations and free publicity.
  • Assisting on the content plan and calendar for the BNL Instagram account, including content creation, measurement and planning
  • Analyzing the always changing media landscape and trends to adapt relevant trends to the strategy

You are a part of

You will be part of the PR and branded content team within Personal Health Benelux at Philips. The team is working in Eindhoven HTC 52, but there is also the opportunity to work in the Amsterdam office. The primary focus of the PR team is to drive an always-on content strategy, to support the PH businesses, customer driven, while playing a key role in an integrated marketing team. You will be contributing to the team leading all media contacts and PR activities within the Benelux and working on key PR projects. In addition, you will also work closely with the marketing managers, social team, digital team and our PR agency.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Studying towards your (HBO/WO) Bachelor/Master student (Communications, Media & Entertainment Management, Business Administration, Creative Business, International Business Management)
  • Passionate about the media landscape and trends
  • Understanding of the role of PR within the marketing communications strategy
  • Digital first mindset
  • Self-driven, creative with an eye for detail
  • Hard-working and motivated team player
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a pre)
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign is a pre
