Chair
Marat Sharipov
I'm Marat Sharipov, Chair of the 37th MAA Board. I'm currently studying Business Administration with a minor in Machine Learning at the University of Amsterdam.
Career-wise, I have experience in marketing, negotiation, and portfolio management, although my interests span far beyond these fields. On a personal level, I greatly enjoy reading, history, and all kinds of sports, while travelling as often as I can.
Within MAA, my role focuses on leading the board and looking after our relationships with universities, partner associations, and the companies we work with. My goal for this year is to make it the best of our 36 years, while making sure every single member enjoys their time with us and learns something new along the way!

Vice chair
Anushka Garg
I’m Anushka Garg, the 37th Vice Chair of MAA, and I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor’s in Economics and Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam.
Within MAA, I am responsible for the financial and strategic side of the association, including budgeting, financial planning, and supporting the board in making financially sound decisions. I am also the main point of contact for our General Members and enjoy being involved in the wider community of the association. My main interests lie in finance, strategy, business development, and entrepreneurship.
Outside of academics and MAA, I love painting & art, travelling & history, reading & writing, and picking up random side quests every now and then to keep life interesting! I love learning something new every day, meeting new people, and having at least one problem to solve, whether that’s a Sudoku, something from university, or MAA.
